Martijn Prevoo

During his bachelor's degree in Biology and Applied Medical Laboratory Technology at Avans University of Applied Sciences, Martijn developed a strong interest in data analysis and bioinformatics. This led him to pursue a master's in bioinformatics and Systems Biology at Wageningen University. Throughout his studies, he discovered a particular enjoyment in helping others solve their data-related challenges. In 2026, Martijn joined the cBioPortal team as a Data Engineer. In his free time, he enjoys reading horror novels, playing video games, and taking part in Dungeons & Dragons sessions with friends.
