Happy Birthday EHDEN Academy!

Congratulations are in order for the EHDEN Academy, not only for its first birthday, but also for the 1000th enrollee in just one year!

The Academy is an integral part of IMI EHDEN and a great resource to deep dive into the OHDSI community and the EHDEN Foundation. It is a free and on-demand platform to learn about OHDSI tools (OMOP Common data model, Atlas, ETL, infrastructure) and analysis aspects (population level estimates, patient level prediction, phenotype characterization).

The Academy has an ambitious roadmap to generate more educational content, around the technical aspects of working with real-world data, and the tools, methods and skills to generate real-world evidence. The Hyve is looking forward to contributing with a module on OHDSI and FAIR, which will be available later this year.

The OHDSI suite is an open-source, modular solution that enables organizations to explore 360° patient journeys and turn data into evidence. The ecosystem provides a broad range of tools that cover all aspects of real world data and evidence − from data characterization to a standardized data model (OMOP CDM). This enables large scale cross-database analytics with OHDSI.
