As project manager/business analyst, you contribute to the bigger vision for the team and facilitate the work of the experts to decide and deliver what they know best. You become the face of the projects and an ambassador who represents RADAR-base and its potential at conferences and meetings.
Who are we?
The Hyve is an international IT company employing data engineers, software engineers, data modelers, and consultants. We are dedicated to delivering solutions that support scientists in life sciences and healthcare R&D using open-source software, open data, and open standards. Our vision is to enhance the quality and impact of biomedical research by providing biomedical informatics solutions, and we believe that open source is the way to do this.
Currently, we are looking for an inspiring project manager/business analyst for the RADAR-base team. The team consists of full-stack software engineers, DevOps, and a sales representative. As part of a thriving open-source community, we work on exciting research projects with top-notch universities and global industry leaders to facilitate the uptake of digital health technology.
RADAR-base allows study participants to share their health data with clinicians and researchers in a secure way. RADAR-base is an open-source platform used for horizontally-scalable remote data collection. The main function of the platform is to provide modular tools for the integration of data streams from various sources (i.e., wearables, phones, apps, IoT, etc.) and to collect in real-time, process, store, manage, and share the data with researchers.
Your responsibilities
Create an inspiring environment and be the content lead for projects.
Lead communications with clients and other stakeholders to understand their needs and manage expectations.
Keep an overview of running projects.
Elicit requirements, document use cases, and lead discussion over the use of RADAR-base.
Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis.
Monitor progress and success of a project on time and on budget.
Address and solve impediments.
Be the face of the product during conferences and meetings.
Work with the team to help set out strategy, market research, market fit, and customer groups.
Be able to work both independently on a task and in a team on a project.
Must have
Education: MSc in computer science, neuroscience, or life science-related topics
Affinity with Digital Health Innovations, Research, and Patient Engagement
Demonstrable Project Management skills and business analysis skills
Experience (1-3 years) as a business analyst or project manager in software development projects
A strong willingness to take on challenges and an eagerness to learn
Great communication skills in English
An affinity with what we try to achieve at The Hyve: improving the world by providing biomedical scientists with excellent tools for managing their data
Willingness to move to The Netherlands (for applicants currently residing overseas)
Nice to have
Understanding of Healthcare ecosystems and a strong interest in digital technologies
Entrepreneurial attitude (preferably with demonstrable experience)
Extensive network in the pharmaceutical industry and academia
