Roman is a bioinformatician who enjoys wrangling and visualizing various types of data. Before joining The Hyve, he obtained a PhD in Computational Biology at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. His research focused on describing the effects of aging on the epigenetic landscape in the mouse liver. He also developed processing workflows and visualization methods for single cell transcriptomics data. When not coding, Roman likes to ride and work on his bicycle, go bouldering, read a good book and dream about having a dog one day.
