Laura, a professional with an academic background in Biology (Genetics) and Molecular Biology, pursued her Ph.D. in Regenerative Medicine at Utrecht University, researching the lipidic composition of extracellular vesicles in equine and human arthritis for clinical applications. Laura's dedication to effective project coordination and commitment to reproducible open-access science led her to join The Hyve's cBioportals team, sharing a mutual commitment to advancing the impact of biomedical research. Outside work, Laura enjoys traveling, landscape photography, and board games, cherishing quality time at home with her husband and cats.
